THE POTATOES CHIPS, canciones divertidas hechas en casa

Según la wikipedia, las POTATOES CHIPS las inventó el chef George Crum en 1853, pero esa es otra historia...
Nuestros THE POTATOES CHIPS son dos hermanos sevillanos, Abraham y Pablo, de 14 y 12 años respectivamente, criados entre instrumentos musicales desde su más tierna infancia, así que tenían todos los números para ser artistas. Abraham cursa 3º de piano en el Conservatorio Cristobal de Morales de Sevilla, toca el piano desde los 4 años y compone desde los 6, también ha formado parte de la Orquesta Joven del Aljarafe. Pablo, por su parte, toca el ukelele, la guitarra y percusión, tras pasar por el Conservatorio, ahora recibe clases de batería, bajo y guitarra y devora los videos de YouTube aprendiendo de los viejos maestros: Beatles, Rollings, Kansas o Nirvana.

Las canciones fueron saliendo medio jugando en casa con su padre que toca la guitarra, en pleno ambiente familiar y el resultado fue una maqueta llena de canciones desanfadas y divertidas, hechas con toda naturalidad, como jugando y mezclando blues, reggae, rock, country, funk, letras en inglés, frases en francés, acento argentino..... desparpajo hecho música !!!
Con solo una maqueta ya han llamado la atención de Carlos Herrera que les ha hecho sonar en Onda Cero Radio y en cuanto llegó a PSM Music, lo tuvimos clarísimo...

Que nadie piense que THE POTATOES CHIPS son un montaje.... son muy jóvenes, si, pero son músicos y lo demuestran en sus directos como en una reciente actuación en Sevilla coincidiendo con el Día Internacional de los Derechos de la Infancia.

Dos patatas que se enrolan en un barco pirata

El disco se abre con su canción estandarte y primer single “The Potatoes Chips”, una insólita historia de unas patatas rebeldes que escapan de la olla para enrolarse en un barco pirata: “Dos patatas se salieron del redil de las patatas, hay que ver que mala pata...”. De esta canción se está terminando un videoclip con escenas rodadas en Isla mágica y en el río Guadalquivir de Sevilla.

Pero la diversión continua.... “Quillo Vichen” tiene un verso que puede relegar a esa famosa frase de la niña, hija de famosos que no se comía el pollo... “Cómete el pescao ya !...”
“Vos tas’ tarada” cuenta la historia de una apuesta sobre quien iba a ganar el Mundial de Fútbol, con frases en francés y un divertidísimo toque porteño, que ni el mismísimo Leo Messi.
“Yo Soy Feliz” tiene una tonada super pegadiza “Uo, Uo, Uo.....” y referencias a Pipi Calzaslargas y a Marco, si, aquel del pueblo italiano...

El gol de Iniesta ya tiene canción !

“Síndrome de Septiembre” cuenta la historia de la vuelta al cole después del Mundial de Fútbol con refecencias a Villa, Kaká y a ese gol de Iniesta que conservaremos en nuestra memoria hasta los restos... “Vaya gol de Iniesta, Jo vaya fiesta!”.
¿Y que más se puede contar?... en el disco tambien encontraremos hits como “No te comas los mocos”, dos canciones en inglés, etc... y es que estos chicos se atreven con todo !!

THE POTATOES CHIPS, home made funny songs

According to wikipedia, the POTATOE CHIPS was invented by the chef George Crum in 1853, but that's another story.

Our THE POTATOES CHIPS are two brothers from Seville, Abraham and Paul, 14 and 12 years old respectively, raised between musical instruments from early childhood, so they had all the posibilities to be artists. Abraham attends 3rd course of piano at the Conservatorio de Morales Cristobal de Sevilla, playing the piano since age 4 and make songs from 6, has also been part of the Youth Orchestra of Aljarafe. The songs were out playing at home with his father who plays guitar, in the family atmosphere and the result was a demo full of songs and fun, made with all natural, such as playing and mixing blues, reggae, rock, country, funk, lyrics in English, French phrases, Argentine accent ..... savvy made music!
With a demo have attracted the attention of Carlos Herrera who play the songs on Onda Cero Radio. At PSM Music we had very clear ...

Lest anyone think that THE POTATOES CHIPS are a band made in records label.... they are very young, yes, but they are musicians and their live show as everybody can see and listen in a recent performance at Seville in conjunction with the International Day of the Rights of the Child.

Two potatoes who join a pirate ship

The album opens with your first hit single "The Potatoes Chips", an unusual story about rebels potatoes escaping from the pot to enroll in a pirate ship: "Two potatoes are left the fold of the potato, you must see that bad luck ...". This song have a music video with scenes shot in diferent places of Seville City.

But the fun keeps on .... “Quillo Vichen" has a verse that can be relegated to that famous phrase of the girl, the daughter of celebrities who did not eat the chicken ... "Eat your fish already !..."
"Vos tas’ tarada" tells the story of a bet on who would win the Football World Cup, with phrases in French and a hilarious touch of Buenos Aires, that neither himself Leo Messi.

"Yo soy feliz" has a super catchy tune "Uo, Uo, Uo ....." and references to the TV series Pippi Langstrump and Marco.
Iniesta’s goal already have a song !
